Worked with two research group leaders on a shared project concerned with monitoring mining activities around the world using satellite imagery.

Built a data pipeline for satellite imagery, Downloading terabytes of raw imagery, cleaning and stitching tiles and preparing it for model training.
Trained and evaluated models using various algorithms and techniques.
Documented and presented findings to the research group.
Applied a computer science background to support other projects within the department.
